Overview
Hope and Clay were engaged by Warings to develop a new car park for Bournemouth International Airport. This work was a precursor to the airport's expansion, during which Hope and Clay also delivered substructure works for the Departures and Arrivals areas.
Project Scope
The detailed scope of works included:
Earthworks Operations: Execution of cut and fill earthworks to prepare the site for the car park development.
Parking and Road Construction: Installation of tarmac roads and gravel parking areas to provide durable and efficient vehicle access and parking facilities.
Drainage and Utilities: Installation of associated drainage systems to ensure adequate water management and infrastructure readiness.
Fencing, Lighting, and Ductwork: Erection of fencing for security, the installation of a comprehensive lighting system to enhance safety and usability, and ductwork to support electrical and communication infrastructure.
This project demonstrates Hope and Clay’s capability in delivering infrastructure solutions that support critical developments in the aviation sector.
