Overview
Hope and Clay undertook the vital infrastructure works for the Hatch Farm development, laying the groundwork for a new residential area comprising 433 dwellings. This ambitious project included road works, bridges, landscaping, and flood alleviation measures.
Project Scope
The extensive scope of works included the following key elements:
Road Infrastructure: Installation of over 2km of new S38 relief roads. These works were critical to connecting the development to existing road networks through two S278 schemes.
Structures: Construction of two road bridges and 130 road culvert units, forming critical components of the infrastructure and ensuring seamless connectivity across the development.
Drainage and Utilities: Provision of essential drainage systems and utility connections to service the new development parcels, ensuring readiness for subsequent construction phases.
On-Site Infrastructure: Extension of the project scope to include on-site infrastructure works, enabling the commencement of dwelling construction by the clients.
Landscaping and Community Amenities: Delivery of a substantial country park landscaping scheme featuring pathways and soft landscaping to enhance the local environment and provide recreational spaces for the community.
The project exemplified our capability to deliver comprehensive infrastructure solutions that integrate functionality, sustainability, and community benefits.
