Overview
Hope and Clay successfully delivered the largest non-motorway roundabout in Hampshire as part of the Hounsome Fields development. This project also included a section of critical on-site infrastructure works, executed with careful planning and expertise.
Project Scope
The detailed scope of works included the following key elements:
Major Roundabout Construction: Delivery of the largest non-motorway roundabout in Hampshire, constructed on the live A30 road. Significant traffic management was implemented to ensure safety and minimize disruption to existing traffic flows.
Road and Sewer Works: Construction of a new road layout, including the installation of new Foul water and Surface water sewers, essential for the development's drainage infrastructure.
Utility Diversions and Installations: Coordination and execution of existing utility diversions alongside the installation of new utilities to support the development's needs.
Tree and Vegetation Clearance: Removal of existing trees and vegetation to prepare the site for development in compliance with environmental and planning requirements.
On-Site Infrastructure: A section of on-site infrastructure was completed to facilitate the early phases of the Hounsome Fields residential development.
The project highlighted our ability to manage complex infrastructure tasks on live highways while ensuring minimal disruption and delivering on time.
