Overview
Hope and Clay undertook the comprehensive infrastructure and groundworks package for The Triangle development, which includes 90 new dwellings. The project required engineered solutions to address challenging ground levels and ensure seamless integration with external systems.
Project Scope
The detailed scope of works included:
Substructure Works: Completion of foundational elements, including plot foundations, floor beams, plot drainage, plot utilities, and brickwork up to damp-proof course (DPC). These works ensured a stable base and seamless integration for subsequent construction phases.
Infrastructure Works: Engineered retaining structures to accommodate the challenging ground levels, providing stable plots and gardens for the 90 new dwellings. Additionally, construction of site roads and drainage systems was completed to support the overall development and connectivity within the site.
Drainage Connection: Establishment of a connection to an existing drainage system located outside the site boundaries. This required a timber heading excavation beneath the live Basingstoke Hospital access road, completed with precision to minimize disruption.
This project demonstrates our expertise in delivering groundworks and infrastructure solutions for residential developments, meeting complex site conditions with engineered solutions.
